Common questions
What can I use my monthly tech time on?
First off — quick site changes (text, prices, hours, swapping a photo) are done for you free on every plan, so those don't touch your tech time. Your monthly time is for the bigger stuff and any general tech or IT: a new page or section, email not working, setting up a booking or payment tool, software advice, login or account help, troubleshooting. Site or tech, your call. Think of it as having a technician on call.
What if I need more than my included time?
No problem. Anything bigger is charged at your members' rate of $65/hr (instead of the standard $75/hr), and we'll always flag and quote a larger job before starting it. If you know you'll need more, a prepaid pack of 5 hours is $300 ($60/hr) to use anytime. Quick stuff, we just do.
What do the plans cover that I'd otherwise pay for?
Hosting, SSL, the CDN, daily backups, uptime monitoring, form delivery, security updates and your email routing are all included. You'd pay $30 to $60 a month for that lot elsewhere, and you'd still need someone to do the work. You only cover your domain's yearly registrar fee (it varies by domain, but we manage the renewals) and any premium tools you choose, like a paid booking system or mailboxes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans with no lock-in. If you want to move on, just let us know and we'll hand everything over cleanly.
What happens if my site goes down?
We get alerted, not you. For Site Care Plus and Full Management, we'll have it resolved before most people notice. For Site Care Basic, we'll be on it within the day.
Do I need to already be a LayerFlow client?
No. We can take over management of a site we didn't build. We'll do a quick audit first to understand what's there.
